A: J-SiS aka Josei-Shoujo Independent Scans aka JAYsis
Q: What do you do?
A: We scanlate Josei and some shoujo. Josei is a minority in this game and we are going to change that.
Q: Josei? what animal is that?
A: It’s manga that targets a slightly older female, sometimes called the OL [office lady] genre. It deals with more serious issues than most popular shoujo.
Q: How were you formed?
A: We were forged in fierce battle with a fearsome opponent [OOoh] and we’re bound by a cohesive camaraderie that rivals that of the 300. We dine in hell. ^^
Q: Haven’t I seen you guys at—?
A: No. You are imagining it ^^
Q: Where can I download this “Josei-Shoujo” animal?
A: You can find our releases in the forums [and no, we don't want your first born and or a toe to get to our download section, you only need to register] and also through IRC.
We wouldn’t mind your first born though.

A: Nifty tutorial. If you can’t be bothered with that, join the forum and click on the chat button. You will join via a java applet
Q: How do you download this stuff?
A: You can join us in IRC for downloads on the first day it is released, and the forums there after.

A: We are always in need of people with skills. Email us, drop by the forum or IRC.
Q: May we translate your scans into another language?
A: Since you asked so nicely, we will definately consider your proposal.
Q: May I host your projects?
A: Yes you may, however you should own the space on which you host it. No photobucket accounts and such.
Also, we’d prefer not to work for a corporation as this is volunteer. Waiting period: 24 hrs
Q: Can I sell your scans and make tons of money?
A: Negative. We are a non-profit organization, no profits for you. [turns over to Lady x-san, "They probably don't care do they?"]

A: There are several ways y0u can reach us to get your questions answered. You are smart enough to find them. We have faith in you.
Fnally, we implore you to purchase the manga you read when it becomes available in your area. The creators retain all copyright and we love them for their hard work.
