We’ve just heard Viz has licensed SaiMo and we’re thrilled the manga and the novels are getting published in English. As a result, we’re dropping the series. I for one cannot wait till the novels get here!

Another installment of Cousin and Colorful palette is available in the forum and on IRC. We had Hotaru scheduled for today, but that didn’t work out. We need a typesetter for hotaru.

Looking for a japanese translator and an editor for some current and upcoming projects including saiunkoku monogatari, chihayafuru, honey high tension, Tenshi no Tamago and so forth. PM Roniz for details.

We bring you another installment of Cousin and Colorful palette. As usual, there are direct downloads in our forums without any of that X # of posts to dl stuff. Register (So we know you aren’t a spam bot from Russia) to access downloads or join us in IRC to download from our bots (triggers are in the title).

We are in need of Japanese to English translators for some upcoming projects we’ve picked up for this year. Check out our upcoming projects page for more information on the new projects.

We hope everyone’s having a fantastic New Year. To celebrate even more, we have 12, yes you read right, 12 chapters to release today.
They include a whole volume of Hotaru no Hikari, the last two chapters in the first volume of Chihayafuru, the last three chapters in volume one of a Colorful Palette and chapter 12 of Cousin. We have a bit of a warning about the violence in two of the Colorful Palette chapters. We do not agree or condone to it, and we believe individuals such as Takemoto (even though he’s just an element of drama) should be beaten and neutered to curb their aggression issues.

We are recruiting for Japanese translators for a few of our 1 volume projects, Editors and Qcers to help speed us up this year. If you have the time and the experience, please consider applying.

Recruiting: Japanese Translator for Hotaru no Hikari

We are in need of a japanese translator for hotaru no hikari. An ideal candidate is able to translate without furigana and has a strong grasp on both Japanese and the English language. A Translator will be required to submit a chapter at least every 2 weeks. I don’t need someone who’ll do a chapter or two then disappear. Don’t waste my time if you cannot commit to the project. Examine your schedule and make sure you’ll be able to meet aforementioned deadline before you consider applying.

Do not apply if you don’t have the time. Do not apply if you only want raws. Lastly, do not apply if you have no intention seeing the project through.

2nd Anniversary

We were established 2 years ago under circumstances that many of us of longer remember. We’ve grown from a small group of josei lovers to quite a large group at the moment. Many have stuck with us even through the lean years and I’d like to say thank you to them. To all the newer staff members, I’d like to say welcome to our insanity, we are here to stay, so if you are in it, you are in it for the long run.

To celebrate our achievements, we’ve lined up some releases in in the coming days. We’ll be introducing some new projects and finally appeasing the himono around the world. Yes, you heard right, more Buchou goodness is coming your way, starting with volume four of Hotaru no Hikari. I hope you guys enjoy the line up we have for you. If you have some time to celebrate with us, join #j-sis [-at-] irchighway [-dot-] net and say a quick thanks to the staff. They’ve set virtual sweat, blood, tears and other fluids to make this happen.
